Everything that needs a scaffold gets deferred until water comes in.

We work alongside your contractors and suppliers. We survey, we audit, and we write down what is still outstanding. On the outside of a hotel, that list is usually longer than anyone expects.

Render, pointing and external decoration

Cracked render, open joints and tired paintwork. Small on their own, and the way water gets in.

Guttering and rainwater goods

Blocked, leaking and broken gutters and downpipes. The cheapest items on the outside of the building and the most expensive to ignore.

Windows, including sash and period

Repair, overhaul and redecoration of windows, including sash and period windows on older buildings.

Scaffold: the reason it keeps getting deferred

Scaffold is a fixed cost. It makes any single external job look expensive and every combined external job look sensible.

Standards we work to

The Work at Height Regulations 2005, scaffold design to NASC TG20, CDM 2015, BS 8221 for the cleaning and repair of masonry, and listed building consent wherever it applies.

What you receive

An elevation-by-elevation condition survey, marked up on photographs. One scaffold programme that covers roofline, gutters, windows, masonry and sealants in a single visit. A closing photographic record of every repair.

Doing it in one visit instead of three

We list everything outside that needs a scaffold, and do it in one visit. On listed and heritage buildings the same rule applies, with consents first.

One scaffold, everything outside, one visit. Trading through it or closed for works, the choice is yours. See all our service lines, book the gap report, or call us.
