Wet areas are where a refurbishment defect shows up first.

We work alongside your contractors and suppliers. We survey, we audit, and we write down what is still outstanding. In a spa, that list starts below the tiles.

Tanking, falls and drainage

If the tanking fails or the floor does not fall to the drain, water goes somewhere else. Usually into the room below.

Ventilation, humidity and plant

Spa ventilation has to move a lot of wet air. When it does not, finishes fail and mould follows.

Finishes that survive a wet room

Tiles, grout, sealants and doors chosen for constant moisture, and fixed accordingly. Spas also need to work for every guest; read about accessibility compliance.

What we work to

Wet areas are built and repaired as systems: substrate, tanking, tile adhesive, grout and movement joints together, to BS 5385 and the tanking manufacturer's instructions. Plant, ventilation and water hygiene are coordinated with whoever holds the Legionella risk assessment.

Closing a spa for the shortest possible time

We plan the work so the spa is closed once, for as short a time as the works allow, while you keep trading elsewhere.

Book the gap report. Trading through it or closed for works, the choice is yours. See all our services, or call us.
